Plan Your Visit

We’re excited to welcome you to cvfree church for an in-person service on Sunday. Please read through the following to familiarize yourself with what to expect. Our Guest Services team had a full training on July 12 to prepare for your visit.

Thank you in advance for following these regulations and helping cvfree remain a safe place for people to gather and worship together. Thank you, also, to all of our volunteers working to keep cvfree welcoming and safe.

Church Online is here to stay:

We encourage continuing worship online for those who are vulnerable, symptom-showing, or uncomfortable with the following protocols. Visit every Sunday at 10:30am.

Save your spot now:

  • Because of our limited capacity, we must have people sign up online or call the church by Thursday 5pm to let us know you are planning to attend.
  • Registration is open each week Monday morning through Thursday at 5pm for that following Sunday and is first come, first served.
  • If you call the church to register (Church phone number is 607.334.3073), please be sure to leave your name, phone number or email, and whether you will need to use the accessible ramp for entrance.
  • Please register each individual, for contact tracing purposes.

What to expect:

  • When you arrive, please visit the check in station at the base of the front stairs before entering the building.
  • To maintain a neat flow of foot traffic, the accessible ramp is for exit only. *If the use of the ramp is required for entry because of physical limitations, please indicate that with your registration, the church will contact you and make arrangements to accommodate your needs.
  • At check in, be prepared to answer 3 questions and have a touchless temperature check as a health screening (if your temperature is over 99.4, according to state regulations, we have to ask you to attend from home).
  • Masks are required. We ask that, out of concern for others, everyone (except children under 2 and those with breathing difficulties) bring a face covering with them to wear while entering, exiting, moving around the inbuilding, or singing (masks may be removed while seated and not singing).
  • At this time, to honor social distancing and to keep everyone safe and comfortable, we are discouraging hugs, handshakes, or other forms of physical contact.
  • Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the building and we encourage you to use them.
  • You will be seated in the sanctuary with social distancing in mind. At the close of service, dismissal will begin with the back rows and proceed forward, allowing those exiting to maintain distance without crowding the exit.
  • The Cafe is closed at this time. Please bring your own water or coffee. Please do not bring food into the building.
  • J.A.M. has relaunched! Our children’s programming is open for infants to 6th grade during our Sunday service. Children over 2 years old do need to wear face coverings, and all of our J.A.M. staff are using face coverings and maintain sanitized classrooms. When you arrive, check in with our main registration table, then head down the stairs to our J.A.M. check-in station.
  • To maintain a touchless experience for you, please bring your Bible or be prepared to use the free YouVersion app on your phone. You can also use your phone to go to our website for the digital connect card, submitting prayer requests or praises, signing up for Growth Groups or ministry teams, online giving, or to use the YouVersion Bible app to access sermon notes.
  • Those attending in-person services may also give their tithes and offerings in the baskets located at the back of the sanctuary as they exit the service.
