Jesus Interrupted (Week 7)
Today is the Sunday we remember the coming of the Holy Spirit: Pentecost. As Jesus promised in Acts 1:8, "...you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere...the the ends of the earth."

"But someone is coming soon who is greater than I am - so much greater" (Matthew 3:11b). With this statement, John the Baptist shared exciting, yet mysterious news letting people know Jesus was coming. And when Jesus came, he INTERRUPTED many people's preconceived notions and plans about salvation, about life. Jesus changed EVERYTHING.
